Unigolf Club is a privately owned business. People looking for membership will be required to fill out an Application Form. Part of this application is a requirement, for the names of two people, who will produce a reference for the applicant, if so required. A person may be awarded membership and have it revoked at any stage, due to an unsatisfactory reference. The management may refuse membership without giving a reason to the applicant.
Family membership will include two adults and up to four children. Children must be under the age of eighteen to avail of family membership. The member in whose name the application is made, is totally responsible for the children.
Membership fees are charged annually. The fee is for a twelve month period, 1st January to 31st December or part thereof. There will be 250 individuals and 150 families receiving free membership. The lucky people will be drawn from a hat. We would advice people to fill application forms early with no payment until they find out if they will get it free. If somebody has filled in an application and they are not picked for free membership, they can then cancel their membership if they wish at no cost. You can avail of full membership status until the draw is made.
Members have to treat the facility at all times with the utmost respect. Members will be fully responsible for the conduct of their guests at all times. Children under 10 will not be allowed on the course except YMG members. Children under thirteen years of age, will have to be accompanied by an adult member, except during pre-booked lesson period. Food bought outside the facility may not be consumed within the premises. The management will not tolerate any messing whatsoever, from members or guests. Even though there is not a strict dress code, members are expected to be neat and tidy. Flat shoes must be worn.
Simulators are for the use of members. Members will use their own golf clubs and balls in the simulators. The use is restricted to people over the age of sixteen.
Members will be allowed play when a tee time is available. Members are responsible for booking tee times in advance, to assure them of a game. Members may be asked to team up with other players, during busy tee times.
Members may use their own putters and golf balls. Putters are available for free from the Golf Shop. Balls and putters are issued free of charge for use on the putting greens and must be returned after the game.
Under no circumstances will alcohol be allowed on the premises. Any member who has consumed alcohol which appears to be excess, will be asked to leave the premises. A member may be subjected to a breathalyser test. Any member who fails to leave when asked will have their membership terminated.
Membership may be terminated at the discretion of management. Where a person loses membership, they are not entitled to a refund. Membership will automatically cease on December 31st, unless fees are paid and accepted, in advance of that date.
These terms and conditions are personal between Unigolf Club and the Member. These are separate to the local rules which are posted in the club. Monitored surveillance cameras are placed in various areas throughout the premises. The entire building is monitored and recorded for the safety of the members. Each member may invite a non-member guest to play. Senior Citizens will pay full rate after 6pm and weekends. Competitions are restricted to members only. Cars are parked in car park at owners risk.
IT IS YOUR SOLE RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE FULLY UNDERSTOOD THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONTAINED IN THIS DOCUMENT.
Those Terms & Conditions are for 2007 and may be changed for future years.
